By playing Cobra Royale you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the game.

Your Licence to Play

On iPhone and iPad, Cobra Royale is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, the standard agreement Apple applies to apps that do not supply their own: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These terms sit alongside it and describe the service we run — accounts, coins, online play and support. Where the two disagree about the licence to the app itself, Apple's agreement governs, and nothing here removes a right that agreement or the law gives you.

Apple is not a party to these terms and does not operate Cobra Royale. Purchases made on an Apple device are made through Apple, and their billing, cancellation and refund process applies to them; the coins those purchases deliver, and everything you do with them in the game, are ours and are covered below.

Independent Development and Third-Party Rights

Cobra Royale is an independently developed game. Unless we expressly state otherwise, it is not affiliated with, associated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or connected with any other game, developer, publisher, or rights holder.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, products and services referred to in Cobra Royale remain the property of their respective owners. A reference to them does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.

Fair Play

Team Play and Parties

Team Deathmatch puts four squads of four against each other. Starting a party mints a share code and a link; anyone holding that link can take a free seat in your party until it is full, so treat it as you would any invitation and only send it to people you want in your round.

A team round opens with a warm-up that fills for up to a minute before the scored round begins. If not enough people are waiting, AI snakes fill the remaining seats. Leaving a round frees your seat for the next one but does not remove you from your party.

Deliberately holding seats to keep other players out, or coordinating with opponents to fix the outcome of a round, counts as disrupting matches under Fair Play.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure, and you must be 13 or older to have one. We may suspend or remove accounts involved in abuse, cheating, fraud or service disruption. You can close your account at any time by writing to us; doing so forfeits any unspent coins.

Coins

Coins are a virtual in-game item, not money and not property. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred between accounts. You are buying a licence to use them inside Cobra Royale, and only for as long as the game runs.

We may adjust balances to correct bugs, chargebacks, abuse or balance problems. If we discontinue the game we will give reasonable notice and stop selling coins, but we are not obliged to refund unspent balances beyond what the law requires.

Payments and Refunds

Web card payments are completed on Stripe's secure checkout. iOS purchases are completed through Apple's In-App Purchase service. Stripe and Apple process payment details; Cobra Royale does not receive or store your full card number. The checkout or App Store sheet shows the bundle, currency, final price and any tax before you confirm. A receipt may be available from your profile after payment.

Coins are delivered to the account used for checkout as soon as Stripe confirms payment. Starting checkout from a live round ends that round because the game must leave the play screen.

For purchases made through Apple, billing, cancellation and refunds are handled under Apple's applicable terms and support process. We use the verified transaction information Apple provides to deliver the coins to your Cobra Royale account.

Because coins are digital content supplied at once, you expressly request immediate delivery and accept that the usual 14-day right to cancel ends once they are credited to your account. Except where the law requires otherwise, completed coin purchases are final and coins cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.

This does not affect your rights if coins were faulty, never arrived, duplicated, or charged in error. Write to [email protected] with your invoice reference and we will investigate. Refunds, when due, are returned to the original payment method; a chargeback or refunded payment may remove the related coins from your balance.

Availability

Cobra Royale may change, pause or become unavailable while we update, maintain or protect the service. Matches are hosted live; a disconnection, restart or crash may end a round in progress, and we do not compensate for lost progress or coins spent on a revive in a round that ends this way.

Your Content

You are responsible for the display name and snake you choose. We may change or remove a name that is offensive, impersonates someone, or is used to advertise.

Liability

The game is provided as it is, for entertainment. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it. If a change materially reduces what you have already paid for, we will tell you before it takes effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep any rights your local law gives you that cannot be set aside.
